This firmware update is for ESP based printers only. ******************** NOTE *********************** The AC adaptor specfication has changed with this release. The new Adapter spec is 10vdc 18 watts 2.1mm id, center positive. Using the 12vdc adaptor can cause the unit to overheat. ************************************************* New features in the 3.4.1 release: 1. Alpha Numeric (DIANA+) pad printing We added Alpha numeric pad printing to the firmware. Why, why not? Makes using reciprocal OTPs easer to use because you don't have to write out numbers if you don't want to and it adds additional complexity to the encrypted message. Codex and instructions for using are included. 2. Changing Pad mode does not require power cycling the unit. Press and hold the Size button for 500ms or longer and release to cycle through pad modes. Numeric mode - Size LED is lit continously. Alpha (DIANA) - Size LED blinks slowly. Alpha Numeric (DIANA+) Size LED blinks fast. 3. Pad stacking. Pad stacking is the ability to generate up to 10 pads of any type sequentially and then print them all at the same time. If you are printing multiple pads this will save lots of time. To activate Pad Stacking press and hold the Generate button for 500ms then release it. All of the LEDs on the unit will blink twice when pad stacking is active. To go back to single pad mode repeat the keypress. All the LEDs will blink once. 4. You can print a Codex/Translation table at any time not, there does not need to be an pad generated. If you are printing Pad and Codex together with pad stacking active, a correct codex will print for each pad type. So if you generate all three types and them print them you will get 3 different Codex/Translation tables.
