ADL-1 OTP Printer Service Bulletin 1

ADL-1 OTP Printers shipped prior to 2018-11-15 operating from external power in excess of 13.8 volts dc will cause the voltage regulator to overheat and malfunction. This causes the printer to be supplied with excessive voltage and will cause the print head to melt and burn the paper.

Do not operate the printer using external voltage in excess of 13.8 volts dc. Operating the printer from the batteries bypasses the voltage regulator and works just fine.

Remedial Action

Partisan Labs, at our expense, will send a new case label with the correct voltage specification on it, an updated user manual, a 1/16 inch hex wrench, and a heat sink with instructions to be attached to the voltage regulator.

We will send an email to all customers that we have an email address for the week of November 19th. If you do not receive an email from us that week, or purchased the unit in person, email to support at and provide a USPS shipping address for us to send the parts to.

If you do not feel that you can remove the panel from the case and install the heat sink, please let us know at support at and we can make other arrangements to have it done for you.

We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused.
